The Xhorse VVDI Bee Mini Key Tool Lite handles the remote generation side, but it does not program the generated remote to your vehicle. Those are two separate steps requiring two different tools:
Step 1 – Remote generation (VVDI Bee Mini Key Tool Lite):
- Generates Xhorse XK wire, XN wireless, XE super, and XS smart remotes
- Generates and clones transponder chips (46, 48, 4D, 8A/H, G, 4E, 11/12/13/4C, 42, 33, 47, and others)
- Frequency detection and ignition coil signal detection
- Connects to an Android phone via USB Type-C
Once generated, the Xhorse remote acts like a recognized aftermarket remote for the selected vehicle make/model.
Step 2 – Vehicle programming (your Autel OtoFix Lite):
- After generation, the remote needs to be added to the vehicle's immobilizer / BCM using a vehicle-side programming tool
- The OtoFix Lite can handle this on supported vehicles, provided the brand and model are in its coverage list
Important to verify before purchase:
- Confirm that your OtoFix Lite covers the specific vehicle you'll be programming
- The VVDI Bee Mini Key Tool Lite does not support remote cloning, key renew, or ID48 96-bit cloning — if those functions are required, the Xhorse Key Tool Max or Key Tool Plus would be a better choice
So yes, the two tools can work together for a complete job, with the VVDI Bee Mini generating the remote and the OtoFix Lite handling vehicle programming.
