The AutoProPAD G3 doesn't have to stay online the entire time you're making keys, but it does need to connect to the internet at least once every 24 hours to verify ownership and keep programming functions active. Any programming that relies on AutoProPAD's calculation servers needs an internet connection at the time of the job, and the G3 Evolution's wireless VCI requires the tablet to be on Wi-Fi. After a check-in, the tool keeps working for another 24 hours, and each new connection renews that window.
