During initial registration of your AutoProPAD G3 you create a PIN code that's required each time the tablet wakes from sleep or rest mode, which verifies the authorized operator. The device also connects to the internet at least once every 24 hours to confirm it hasn't been reported stolen; if it doesn't check in within that interval, it disables itself as a security measure. The tool does not need to stay connected to make keys - after the brief check-in it keeps working for another 24 hours, and each connection renews the window.
