Transponder Chips
Transponder Chips are loose automotive immobilizer chips used by locksmith professionals to build, repair, program or clone vehicle keys. Our selection includes OEM chips from established manufacturers such as NXP and Texas Instruments, cost-effective aftermarket chips for common applications, and programmable universal transponder chips. Depending on the vehicle system and chip family, transponders may use a sealed glass-capsule design or a durable carbon-style housing designed to fit inside the key head.
Universal transponder chips can be generated or configured by a compatible key tool to function as one of several supported chip types. Products such as the Xhorse VVDI Super Chip, Autel AT100, CGDI CP8X and KEYDIY KD26 help locksmiths cover more applications while reducing the number of separate fixed chips kept in inventory. They are not compatible with every vehicle or programmer, and some can be rewritten or reused only under specific conditions. Install the selected chip in a compatible Key Shell, or browse Transponder Keys for complete keys supplied with a chip. Always verify the supported chip type, vehicle system and programming-tool compatibility before generating, cloning or programming.
