Abrites / Software - Token
The Abrites MN034 FBS4 Personalisation Expert licence allows personalisation of second-hand (set to virgin) or brand-new FBS4 modules, with or without available FBS4 data, via OBDII and internal CAN-Bus connection. It is a major tool for working with modules from the FBS4 generation of Mercedes-Benz vehicles — the job gets done without the data from the original module, and no dealer account is needed.
Functionalities
- Personalisation of virgin second-hand modules by OBDII and internal CAN-Bus connection, with or without previously saved FBS4 data from the original module
- Personalisation of brand-new, unused modules by OBDII and internal CAN-Bus connection, without the need to set them to virgin state
FBS4 data can be read from modules and saved to a file with the MN032 licence. Modules can be set to virgin state with MN032 or the MN039 licence.
New functionality — personalisation when NO previously saved data from the original module is available
- MRD1 / MRG1 on bench via the Abrites Distribution Box Set (ZN151) and the MD1 / MG1 ECU connection cable (CB030)
- MED41 (MED17.7.7) on bench via the Distribution Box Set (ZN151)
- DSM modules on bench via ABPROG
Supported modules
- Transmission control units — VGS-FDCT / VGS2-FDCT (7G DCT), VGS4-NAG2 (7G-Tronic), VGSNAG3 (9G-Tronic), VGS-DCT (8G FDCT): personalisation of virgin and of brand-new modules via OBDII and internal CAN-Bus, using FBS4 data read from the original module
- All engine control units — standard personalisation of virgin or brand-new modules for all ECU types, using FBS4 data read from the original module; personalisation of virgin or brand-new MED17 and EDC17 by OBDII when no previously saved data is available
- Hybrid vehicle ECUs (INV20EM01 and derivatives) — standard personalisation using FBS4 data read from the original module
- Electric vehicle ECUs (EM01, EM02) — standard personalisation using FBS4 data read from the original module
- DSM (all types) in vehicles with VGS4-NAG2 (7G-Tronic) — personalisation using FBS4 data read from the original module, with no need to open the module

An AVDI interface with an active annual subscription is required to use this licence. Delivered electronically; your AVDI serial number is needed to process the order.
