The Abrites ZN038 Fiat / Chrysler CAN Adapter opens up access to FCA (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles) modules that cannot otherwise be reached.
Modules it gives access to
- Anti-lock brakes (ABS)
- Haptic lane feedback (HALF)
- Electronic steering lock (ESL)
- Occupant restraint controller (ORC)
- Electric power steering (EPS)
- Parking aid module (PAM)
Supported models: Fiat 500X and Jeep Renegade.
The adapter may also be required for proxy alignment procedures on FCA vehicles — the software puts an on-screen message up when it is needed, so there is no guesswork.
What you need: an AVDI with an active annual subscription. Refer to the Abrites Diagnostics for FCA / Fiat, Alfa Romeo and Lancia user manual when working. For all-keys-lost and secure gateway FCA work, the CB017 and CB019 cables are the companion pieces.
Hardware warranty is one year from the date of purchase, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
