The Abrites ZN079 ZF 8HP TCU Connection Cable connects your AVDI directly to ZF 8HP transmission control units on the bench, for reading and updating TCU data.
Where it fits in. Abrites includes the ZN079 in its Full Software and Hardware Bundle for BMW, alongside the BN018 licence, which covers EGS / TCU adaptation — including setting third-generation ZF8HP gearbox modules to virgin.
Power supply. On the bench the ZN079 needs its own power feed — Abrites lists it among the adapters powered by the ZN063 12V / 1A DC power adapter.
An AVDI with an active annual subscription is required to use this product.
