The KeyDIY KD-MP Tool is a professional solution designed for adding keys to MLB and MQB48 anti-theft systems. It is the preferred choice for vehicles such as Audi, Porsche, Lamborghini, Bentley, and VW Touareg, offering stable and reliable performance.
By connecting the KD-MP to the KeyDIY PC software, locksmiths can complete key identification, data collection, and dealer key generation without removing any chip.

Key Features & Supported Functions

MLB & MQB48 Key Functions (No Chip Removal Required)

  • Key Identification
    Supports MLB and MQB48 OEM and aftermarket key recognition.
  • Key Data Collection & Calculation
    Reads and calculates data from OEM MLB/MQB keys.
  • Dealer Key Generation
    Generates dealer keys using original, KD, or aftermarket remotes.
  • KD Key Functions
    • Modify key ID
    • Adjust key values
    • Change signal sensitivity
    • Restore/reset KD keys
  • Online Firmware Upgrades
    Continuous updates and new feature additions.

Function Activation Requirements

  • MLB Activation:
    1000 KD coins or $15
  • MQB48 Activation:
    2500 KD coins or $75
    (Shares the same license as Audi BCM2)
    MQB48 requires removal of 1.8PF capacitors.
  • Per Key Operation:
    • MLB add-key process: 200 KD coins or $3
    • MQB48 add-key process: 200 KD coins

Important Notes

  • After collecting original key data, the new key must be added using the KD-X4 programmer.
    (KD-MAX cannot complete this step.)
  • If the device shows “Finish user authentication first”, complete authentication at:
    KD App → ME → Certification
  • KeyDIY PC Software (KD Tools) is available for download.
  • Unsupported Languages:
    Polish, Chinese, Slovenian, Turkish, Brazilian Portuguese, Hebrew, Persian.
