License & Credit Requirements

To use the encrypted-key functions with this hardware, your K518 device must have the relevant license active:

• K518 Pro Full Version — If your annual subscription is active, all functions are unlocked. If expired, simply renew.
• K518 Pro FCV — Activate the BMW BDC2/BDC3/BCP/LCD license and the VAG MQB49 5C/5D license separately.
• Credits are required to read OEM encrypted key data and generate MQB49 5C/5D dealer keys (earn back 10% credits per use). 
• Prior BMW BDC2/3/BCP license holders are auto-upgraded to the new BDC2/3/BCP/LCD license.
