The Lonsdor KPROG2 Adapter is an essential accessory for the Lonsdor K518 PRO, K518ISE, and K518S key programming devices.
It enables professional locksmiths to read and write EEPROM SOIC chips and MCU chips, supporting a wide range of chip manufacturers.

The KPROG2 adapter is especially powerful for Volvo Smart Key programming (CEM & KVM modules) from 2009–2024, making it a must-have for advanced key programming work.

Binding Instructions

Connect the KPROG adapter to the Lonsdor K518 using the main cable.
Connect the K518 to a 12V power supply.
On the K518 device, go to Settings → Bind Adapter.
Confirm by selecting OK.

Note: Once the KPROG adapter is bound to one K518 device, it cannot be bound to another.
