CGDI / Programming Adapters
The CGDI No.04 Remote Free Adapter (Part Number C01-000895) is made for use with the CGDI K2 Smart Key Programmer or AutoKeyUnlocker Mini KR to read and write Buick and Chevrolet remote PCBs with FCC IDs HYQ4EA, HYQ4AA, HYQ4ES and HYQ4AS, without soldering or direct PCB handling. The matching remote board fits into the adapter and lines up with fixed contact points, allowing the K2 to communicate with the chip cleanly and consistently. There are no cables to attach, no clips to probe and no chance of slipping off a solder pad during the job. As part of the CGDI Remote Free Adapter series, the No.04 unit is dedicated to this specific Buick and Chevrolet board layout so the contacts always align correctly. Use it with the CGDI K2 Wi-Fi Smart Key Programmer and Remote Generator to unlock and renew OEM remotes faster and with less risk to the PCB.
