This limited-time trade-in promotion is available from June 25 to July 25, 2026. It gives customers using older OBDSTAR tools a chance to upgrade to a newer KeyMaster G3 model and enjoy extended update service, especially since updates for many older machines have already been discontinued or may be discontinued soon.
Eligible Old Machines: The following old machines may qualify

Trade-in Process:
1- You do not need to send us your old machine. We only need the serial number of your old machine and the serial number of the new machine. OBDSTAR will verify the serial numbers to confirm eligibility and make sure the machines belong to the same owner.
2- Your old machine can be active or expired. Either one is acceptable for this promotion.
3- After verification, the extra 1-year free update will be added to the new machine once it is registered.
Do I need to send in my old machine?
No. You do not need to ship or return your old machine. This trade-in program is verified by serial number only.
What information do I need to provide?
You need to provide the serial number of your old machine and the serial number of the new machine purchased under the promotion.
Can my old machine be expired?
Yes. Your old machine can be expired or still active. Both are accepted as long as the serial number qualifies for the promotion.
When will the extra 1-year update be added?
After the serial numbers are verified, the extra 1-year free update will be added to the new machine once it has been registered.
