Panasonic CR2450 is a 3V lithium coin cell (LiMnO2), IEC designation CR2450 (ANSI/NEDA 5029LC), measuring 24.5mm in diameter by 5.0mm thick with a rated capacity of 620mAh. This is a higher-capacity cell than the CR2032 or CR2025, commonly specified for Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Volkswagen remote key fobs, and increasingly for newer (2020+) GM/Chevrolet and Cadillac smart key fobs - including Silverado, Tahoe, Suburban, Corvette, and Escalade - which moved to this larger cell for added power capacity.
