Most Chinese brands we carry — including Xhorse, KEYDIY, Lishi, OBDSTAR, Lonsdor, CGDI, ACDP, BAKU, GODIAG, EONEBOSS, VAPON, and similar brands without a U.S. representative or repair center — offer a manufacturer warranty (typically 1 year). However, these warranties have an important limitation:
• Shipping required to China: To file a claim, the machine must be shipped back to the manufacturer in China. The customer is responsible for international shipping costs and customs fees in both directions.
• Long turnaround times: International shipping plus repair time often means weeks of downtime.
Because many customers find this process difficult, we offer Extend protection plans on most eligible machines as an easier alternative (see below).
