Yes, but it requires an Xhorse VVDI programming tool — it is not a stand-alone direct-copy remote.
The XKGD22EN is a 2nd generation Xhorse XK series wired garage remote. To clone an original garage door remote onto it (or to generate it for use), you'll need one of the following Xhorse devices:
- VVDI Key Tool
- VVDI Mini Key Tool
- VVDI Key Tool Max
- VVDI Key Tool Max Pro
- VVDI Key Tool Plus
- VVDI2
What the tool supports for garage remote cloning:
- HCS rolling code cloning
- Fixed code cloning (PT22XX, LX918, HT6P20, VD5026, AX5326, HT12X)
- Garage door remote generation from Xhorse's built-in database (100+ types)
- Frequency editing
2nd generation upgrades:
- Built around the XM5118 transceiver for faster, more reliable communication
- Supports both wired and wireless programming (the 1st gen XKGD12EN required a cable)
- Lower power consumption (longer battery life)
- Enhanced anti-static protection
Note: If you're looking for a garage remote that can be cloned button-to-button directly from the original remote without a programming tool, the Xhorse XKGHG1EN "Masker" garage remote is the product designed for that workflow. It's a different product line.
