Abrites BN022 BDC2 Replacement and Mileage Reset for BMW

The Abrites BN022 licence is the Abrites solution for replacing faulty BDC2 modules in BMW F- and G-Series vehicles equipped with BDC02, and it does the job in a handful of steps. The licence transfers the data of the original module to the replacement unit and resets the mileage stored in the replacement BDC2 to 0 km.

How the procedure runs

1. Read the data from the original BDC2 module and from the replacement one
2. Transfer the data from the original BDC2 to the replacement module
3. The mileage in the BDC2 module is automatically reset to 0 km
4. Reset and re-learn the keys

After the exchange is complete, the replacement BDC2 module accepts the current mileage value from the dashboard. All keys previously available to the vehicle must be re-learned after the replacement procedure.

Required hardware. The replacement procedure is carried out on bench and requires the ZN095 BDC2 bench connection cable to communicate with the unit and the ZN151 Distribution Box Set for the adaptation itself. The ZN103 PROTAG programmer is needed for the key reset and re-learn once the replacement module has been adapted. If you also need to add or renew keys on these cars, that is covered by the BN020 licence.

An AVDI interface with an active annual subscription is required to use this licence. Delivered electronically; your AVDI serial number is needed to process the order.
