The Abrites CB033 EZS Bench Connection Cable for Mercedes is designed and developed for bench work with the AVDI on EZS modules from Mercedes-Benz vehicles.

Functionality: bench work with EZS / EIS modules from Mercedes-Benz vehicles.

What the cable carries

  • Connectors for EZS / EIS modules
  • A connector for the instrument cluster (IC)
  • A connector for the GATEWAY (W211)
  • An OBD connector for the CB106 (or older CB100) cable to the AVDI and for the ZN151 Distribution Box Set — or the older ZN051 DS-Box
  • A DC connector for a 12V power supply adapter

For EZS / EIS password extraction, the EZS / EIS fuse is used to reset the module through the ZN151 DS-Box Set or the older ZN051.

Supported modules — EZS (EIS) electronic ignition switch on: W117 / W156 / W166, W164, W204, W207, W212 and W221.

What you need: an AVDI with an active annual subscription.

Hardware warranty is six months from the date of purchase, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
