Abrites / Software - Token
The Abrites MN038 licence allows you to calibrate IC223 (2020+) and IC177 M (2023+) clusters in Mercedes-Benz vehicles equipped with Visteon R7F701529 BGA processors.
The process is safer and simpler because it needs no work on the EZS (EIS) module — it is neither required nor affected during the procedure. Synchronisation between the EZS and the instrument cluster is blocked via an emulator, and all operations are carried out directly on the cluster PCB.
Functionality
- Adjust the value stored in the IC223 / IC177 M dashboard
- Block the synchronisation of the dashboard with the EZS module
The procedure requires working on the cluster PCB on bench: unsoldering a few capacitors and soldering the wires of the CB501 cable onto it. Wiring diagrams are included in the software. After the new value is written with the RH850 programmer and CB501 cable, the CB501 wires are unsoldered and the EM019 emulator is soldered in as shown in the user manual.

Required hardware

- ZN092 adapter for the ZN085 (5V to 3.3V)
- EM019 emulator for IC223 / IC177 M dashboards — required to complete the procedure
This licence is intended for lawful repair work — restoring the correct reading after a cluster has been repaired or replaced.
An AVDI interface with an active annual subscription is required to use this licence. Delivered electronically; your AVDI serial number is needed to process the order.
