Comprehensive Service and Reset Menu

The Ultra S2 offers over 48 maintenance, reset, and service tasks tailored to specific vehicles, providing direct access with guided instructions for seamless operation.

Industry-Leading Security Gateway Access

Automakers are increasingly securing vehicle systems with gateway modules, and Autel has prioritized enabling its tablets to access these systems. “Autel has consistently led the aftermarket in delivering this functionality to our products and technicians,” said Maurice Miller, Autel’s Vice President of Customer Success.

To unlock the full potential of Autel’s diagnostic and servicing tools, the company employs two gateway access strategies:

• AutoAuth Registration: Required for Stellantis, Nissan, and Mercedes-Benz vehicles, users must register their shop and Autel tablet with Auto Authentication Authority (AutoAuth).
• Volkswagen/Audi Access: Autel negotiated directly with Volkswagen/Audi Group to enable SGW access. Users can purchase single VIN/24-hour sessions or unlimited VINs/full-year access plans.

One Solution to Finish Every Repair

Remote Expert Platform: Autel’s Ultra series and Ultra S2 tablets are integrated with the Remote Expert platform, empowering technicians to complete complex repairs, including:

• Module programming
• ADAS calibrations
• OE pre- and post-scans

Technicians can connect with vetted experts who remotely access the VCMI2 to perform tasks using OE tools. Payments can be made via the tablet or Remote Expert app, streamlining repairs and eliminating the need for costly subscriptions or outsourcing.

The Ultra S2’s upgraded hardware delivers exceptional performance and supports its advanced software:

• Processor: A faster 2.7 GHz octa-core processor for quicker system scans and bi-directional testing, ideal for diagnosing modern vehicles with up to 80 modules.
• Storage: 512 GB, doubling the previous model for efficient vehicle software management.
• Connectivity: Wi-Fi 6 for faster updates and data transfer.
• Display: Larger anti-glare screen with split-screen capabilities for live data and oscilloscope analysis.
• VCMI2: A lightweight, six-function Vehicle Communication and Measurement Interface, supporting CAN FD, 4 CAN Channels, and advanced diagnostic protocols. Features include:
