The remote PCB seats into the adapter on fixed contact points, allowing the K2 to communicate with the chip cleanly and consistently. That removes the cables, clips and manual probing required by traditional remote unlock and renew workflows, which keeps the job fast and protects the PCB from accidental damage. As part of the CGDI Remote Free Adapter series, the No.07 unit is dedicated to the IYZ-C01C board layout, so the contacts always align correctly.
