FOBIKO Test Key Blanks are inexpensive uncut mechanical keys used by automotive locksmith professionals to verify a decoded key code, test cuts in a door lock or ignition, and confirm that the blade operates correctly before cutting a more expensive transponder key, remote head key or OEM blank. This makes test keys an important, cost-effective part of all-keys-lost, lock-decoding and key-generation work.

After confirming the cuts, the locksmith can duplicate the proven pattern onto the final Automotive Key Blanks or Transponder Keys. FOBIKO test blanks cover popular domestic, Asian and European keyways, including standard edge-cut and high-security profiles. They contain no chip and are intended primarily for mechanical testing. Always confirm the blade profile and use the correct Key Cutting Machines and clamp for the keyway.
