Abrites ZN074 ECU Reading Set

The Abrites ZN074 ECU Reading Set is developed and designed by Abrites to make ECU reading and writing on the bench easier — especially boot-mode work, where you need a steady power supply and a reliable contact on the ECU’s boot pin.

Important: the ZN074 works together with the ZN051 Distribution Box (supplied in the ZN151 Distribution Box Set) and cannot be used on its own.

What’s in the set

• 14V / 4A DC power adapter — powers the ECU, DS-Box and AVDI on the bench (EU plug, 110–220V)
• Power supply to DS-Box cable with banana plug
• Boot test probe — for an easier connection to the ECU’s boot pin
• Two-footed probe positioner — holds the boot probe in place so your hands stay free
• Micro-pincer hook (0.76 mm opening) — for hooking onto a BGA ball when the boot pin on the PCB is not accessible
• Boot probe connection cable (2 mm banana plug, 0.5 m) — connects the probe or micro-pincer to the DS-Box
• 2 mm banana socket — solder it to the boot cable coming from the DS-Box to connect the boot probe cable

Also a bench power supply. The 14V / 4A adapter in the set can power other Abrites adapters, including the ZN069 Toyota mechanical key adapter set, the ZN079 ZF 8HP TCU cable, the ZN055 ABPROG EWS3 adapter and the ZN059 / ZN060 / ZN061 VAG cluster adapters. Abrites also recommends it as the 12V supply when working with Mercedes-Benz MD1/MG1 ECUs through the CB030 cable. If you only need the power supply, the ZN082 14V / 4A adapter is sold on its own.

An AVDI with an active annual subscription is required. Hardware warranty is one year from the date of purchase, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
