AccuReader Tools

AccuReader Tools are professional lock-reading and specialty service tools developed by locksmiths to make key origination faster and more efficient. AccuReaders are designed to read the depth of each position directly from a compatible lock, helping locksmiths determine the cuts needed to originate a working key without disassembling the lock.

The range includes readers for automotive, motorcycle and selected residential applications, along with ignition removal and reset tools. Motorcycle AccuReaders can be used on compatible ignition, gas-cap and helmet locks, while automotive readers are designed for supported door, trunk and other lock applications. After reading the cuts, use the correct Key Blanks or Test Key Blanks to produce and verify the key. Always select the AccuReader made for the exact keyway and lock application.
